Thanksgiving Weekend

We want to wish everyone a safe and happy Thanksgiving. We will be closed from November 26 till the 29th and will reopen on Monday the 30th.

What's your favorite Tipps meal?

With Tipps great Thai food, it makes it hard to decide what to choose from. The peppered garlic with chicken, the Pad Thai, or one of the curries? Our suggestion, bring a friend or two and share. Try a different dish or stick with your favorite. While your here, don't forget happy hour Monday through Friday, 3-6.

Who's Cold???

Since the temp has plummeted into the mid 60's, those of us who have lived through an Arizona summer are bundling up and FREEZING!!! What better way to warm up then by enjoying some spicy Thai food. The Shrimp Pineapple Curry is fantastic, and if you want to really be sweating, order it Thai Spicy. Our selection of wonderful soups will fight off the cold. Do not for get the hot sake. Enjoy.

Rocking out the Patio

The weather is beautiful and now is the perfect time to come in and enjoy the outside patio. Sit down with a friend and enjoy some of Tipps great cocktails. We have painstakingly put together a delicious drink menu for you to enjoy. Try our Bangkok Cooler or Lemongrass Lemonade. They will quench any fire that the fantastic Pad Thai might give you. :)

If your have never had Thai food, then please come in and have our experienced and knowledgeable staff show you the best way to experience far away flavors. Our menu has many selections of vegetarian and non-vegetarian items that we are sure will please. Do not forget to save room for the homemade Coconut ice cream!!!!

Getting Cooler

Did you know that Tipps 88 has a great selection of hot soups for cool days, or any day for that matter. Our soups are perfect for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike with selections like our Tom Yam Kung. It is a spicy and sour soup with large shrimp and veggies. Make it with tofu and mushrooms instead of shrimp and you have the Tom Yam Veggies.

End of Summer, so have a beer.

Celebrate the end of summer with $2 domestic bottles all night long. With the tempeture now only in the low 100's, a cold beer and some hot Thai food are the perfect pair.

Open all day

In Tempe and need a Thai food fix? Want a late lunch or early dinner but find that most of the Thai food places are closed from 3-5? Tipps 88 stays open all day from 11 am till 9pm Monday through Saturday. Not to mention that we have a great happy hour going from 3-6 with discounts on beer, wine and $2 well drinks.

Starting next week, your place for great Thai food is going to be branching out. We are going to be offering some great drinks that are true to our motto, "Enjoy Far Away Flavors." Pick up an Arizona Republic on Wednesday, Friday or Saturday and look in the Tempe section for a valuable coupon to come in and try some of our delicious new offerings .

In the mood for great Thai food but you do not have time to stop in? Give us a call and place your take out order. In around 15 minutes, we will have your order ready for you. Get your hot meal (do not forget the Homemade Coconut Ice Cream) and go. Lunch or Dinner makes no difference. Stop in today or give us a call.

Closed for Labor Day

In honor of Labor day, Tipps 88 will be closed. We will open on Tuesday, September 8th at 11. Enjoy your holiday.

New Chef's Special

Chef Pat created a mouth watering Grilled Salmon dish for this week's Chef Special. The grilled salmon is served with a garlic white wine mushroom sauce, steamed vegetables, caramelized onions and steamed white rice. It is available for lunch or diner this week. Ask your server for details.

Changes to Tipps 88

It has been a long time coming, but your favorite Thai restaurant is going to be making some changes for the better. If you have been following us on twitter at hppt://twitter.com/Tipps88 you know that we are going to be debuting brand new lunch and dinner menus next week. There are some delicious additions, a brand new drink menu and a easier to read format. Chef Pat will be creating each week both a lunch and dinner special that will tickle your taste buds.

Our Happy Hour has also be re-vamped. Come in Monday through Friday, 3-6 to see for yourself our brand new happy hour menu and drink specials. Of course, still have the famous Tipps 88 sake bomber!!!
